    I wish that I had the confidence to do this on my own, however I just became a boat owner about a month ago and just haven't learned enough about my 3.0 cobra sterndrive to attempt it. My question is does $1,000 parts, labor and tax sound in line?

    Pulling throttle to far before reverse is grabbing.

    3.0 Cobra OMC<br /><br />The boat really rev's up before dropping into reverse. So bad that I just pushed off with my oar this weekend. Is this just a simple cable adjustment?

    replacing u-joint bellows... what else should I do while I'm in there

    Well,<br /><br />After some research I can see my OMC Cobra 3.0 needs to have it's U-Joint bellows replaced. What else should I replace or investigate once I'm in there? I'm new to I/O boating so any advise is greatly appreciated.
