    So I have struggled with this boat and it's ability to get up on plane and run at an adequate RPM. I had no luck myself so my boat partner took it to an Evinrude shop.     12-12-12

    Trying to figure out what batteries I need for this project I just picked up. So the guy I bought from said it's a 12-12-12 battery setup and I'm curious if that tells me what exactly I need for the batteries. It's a 1987 Evinrude 140 on a 1988 Stratos 279v Any help is appreciated.
