    I do not believe you can go from 9.9 to 15. You can go 8 to 9.9 with carb change, and 15 to 20, but certain you can't go 9.9 to 15. Hope this helps..

    9.8 Nissan Starter Interlock Adjustment

    Is their a way to adjust the interlock on a 9.8 nissan. The electric start will not engage in the neutral position unless you lightly pull the shift lever forward. (not switching into gear). The electric start should engage while the shift lever is in its normal position.
