    Possible water in hull?

    I own a Carolina Skiff J16 and I think its sitting too low in the rear. I'm the 3rd owner so not sure all that's been done to it. My waterline is like 7" high in the rear. I have a 48hp Evinrude, battery, and 6 gal fuel tank in the back also. Is it normal to sit this low in the water??

    1996 Evinrude 48 spec not pumping water through

    Yesterday I was running my engine and all of a sudden it won't take in water or drain water from the tube in the rear. It will run but overheats quickly. Does anyone have any clue why it would stop drawing in water? thanks for any info
