    Going to look at a 9 foot Achilles inflatable this weekend, what do I look for?

    I'm going to look at a 9 foot Achilles inflatable this weekend, it's 6 years old and the owner claims it's made out of Hypalon. What do I look for? My first boat was a bust, so I'd like some advice on my second. So how do I check for water leaks? Air leaks? Anything else to look at?

    OMC 12 hole to 16 hole transom seal conversion

    I have an early OMC Stringer, 1966 based on the model number, and my transom seal is leaking bad, I need a new one but 16 hole is the only one I can find, it fits the 1968 drive that looks identical to mine, and some googling says it should fit. Can I use 12 self tapping screws in my old holes...
