    what should be top rpm yamaha 115/2stroke

    I have 1998 115yamaha/2stroke /17pitch stainless<br />steel prop. I am reading in other postings that some people arew getting 5800 rpm out of this engine.I am sure my dealer told mine should top out at 5000 and that is all i can ever get and sometimes only 4800/4900 . Is this correct for this...

    I currently run a1998 yamaha115/2stroke which for fuel consumption reasons I whish very much was a 4 stroke . is thier any remote hope that we will ever get a remodel kit available that would take off the carbs and convert the engine to DFI or is that an imposible dream??

    twin engines for 20ft alaskan /lund

    currently running 115/2stroke yamaha would like to go to twin four strokes for safty reliabilitie and fuel economy. Use the boat for fishing, moose hunting and fairly long distance river travel/ie 2 hundred miles or more without refueling spots. Any suggestions on what combo would be best?

    water coming out of top of leg

    1998/115 hp yamaha 2 stroke just replaced water pump kit now have a strong stream of water out the pisser port but also have quite abit of water coming out the top of the leg next to the transom can anyone suggest why this would happen
