Hello!<br />I'm looking at buying a used 9.9 johnson, (model 10r, I believe.) My question is how much leg should extend past the bottom of the keel.<br />As you can tell, I'm kinda new to this stuff, so any help would be appreciated!<br />Thanks!

I am rebuilding a 6HP johnson model cd-23 (1965?)<br />There is a 115 lb compression reading in each cylinder.<br />The engine turns over smoothly.<br />There is a good spark at each plug.<br />The float bowl is full of fuel and the main jet seems to be clear. I took it apart and blew it out...
