I have a 2004 volvo penta 5.7gxi-e and the port side riser gets extremely hot and sets off the alarm when cruising between 3500 and 4500 rpm, the starboard side is fine. It doesn't when cruising under that.the risers are new and there's no blockage in the hose that goes to the exhaust manifold...
