    '63 28 hp Evinrude tiller handle

    Did the '62 -'64 28 hp Evinrudes come as 'Tiller' steer versions? Plenty of tiller handles on Ebay but can't locate one for the '63 I have. Will other model years work? Mine only has the stubby "Fast" "Start" "Slow" lever.

    Core plug related question

    I'm rebuilding a 71 Evinrude 9.5 carb ( AG 312916) carb and have removed both CORE PLUGS but can not find a way to remove the plastic "filler plug" in the large orifice. It is a plastic material and I am afraid of damaging it if I get too aggressive with it. (there's no replacement for it in...
