I have a Volvo Penta I/O which of course mounts to the transom. I was wondering if anyone ever mounted their motors to the stringers also to help lighten the load on the transom.
I am new to boating and have a project boat I would like some help on. It is a late 80's Renken with a Volvo Penta 4 Cyl. It has no battery and I wanted to know where it is supposed to be wired too as there are no battery cables either. Thanks.
