I have a 1987 mercury classic 50 45hp.I'm trying to remove the lower end to put a water pump kit in. I see 2 nuts and 2 bolts. Once I take these off is there any thing else to take off ? Do I need to take any shift linkage loose ? Does the lower end just slide out ?
I'm restoring a1987 22' pontoon boat. Can I restore the boat on blocks without damaging the pontoons ? Here is how I have it blocked up now. I don't have a trailer yet.
