Thanks again @muc. I wasn't farting off your details. I've followed you since I joined the forum eight yrs ago. I have tremendous respect for your knowledge and diagnostic skills. I was on a tight timeline trying to get good data between weather, feedback intervals and retests before I handed it...

I had a break through today. New battery a few days ago. After changing the three port plugs and the #2 plug, which was also dark varnished like #1 (I threw in the towel trying to get the boots off #4 and #6 in very limited space, but hoped they looked as good as #3 and #5) The boat jumped out...

Thanks for the get back @muc . Update, I followed your advice and installed a new cranking battery. Significant improvement. Cleared codes and reran .rec files. No alarms, MIL lamp or codes when finished. Very little engine vibration. No change in performance. ...low power. I changed the port...

Latest .rec files attached. I cleared and verified all codes were gone. I couldn't find the pick on Diacom to clear misfire data. I Googled it for Diacom and found a member on a different fourm who said to go the 'Tests' tab and select clear misfire data. It wasn't there, just various system...

Diacom's good training video showed me how to clear codes today. As far as "do NOT clear the Misfire adaptive memory", it looks like code clearing is an all or nothing process. If I see the ability to step over this I will. I'll clear the codes tomorrow am and fetch my boating pal for data...

All understood. All fuel filter checks were followed with a fresh filter. Battery will be four years old in August. Dash gauge shows 13+ V running. I'll check with a VOM as part of my next check. I'll gladly replace if it solves the problem or gives better data. Alarms and performance have kept...

Understood. I'm scheduled for the dealer on Jul 14. Dealer service scheduler told me they don't have VP diagnostic software, but are planning to get it but need training. (!!??). So my Diacom is my best option and I plan on getting to the root with your guidance and good data before the visit. I...

Got it. Getting good recordings has a learning curve. ....and a black cursor on my laptop. I'll record again per your instructions and my wrist watch. ....I missed the eight minute test duration, but will do this. I assume eight minutes running before idling back and doing a 'hole shot' for each...

@muc. Reply to your last post. Fuel story: Unknown bad winter leftover fuel. Topped off w/10 gals before splashing. Immediate symptoms from ramp to lift. Removed and drained filter and saw too yellow fuel with a little crud. Dissected filter showed small amounts of crud. Pumped tank. Empty on...

@muc I rechecked fuel pressures today from idle to WOT. Low pressure 10-11 vs spec 10-40. High pressure 65-70 vs spec 55-65. Little to no variation as load increased......hopefully close enough for you to take another look at the .rec files I re-ran all .rec files attached. Recorded from idle...

I removed the fuel inlet at the transfer pump and threaded the extractor tube down into the fuel tank. Maybe a splash of fuel remained. After refueling and getting the .rec files, I connected the gauge to each schrader valve and tune the engine to 'on'. The transfer pump cycles for about 8-10...

@muc More info. I checked the transfer pump pressures. High pressure =50 psi. Low pressure/internal pump pressure = 8 psi. Not good. Hopefully it explains the problem. I've noticed erratic O2 trims, closed loop switching to active and back erratically. An generally low injector pulse widths...

Here are the compressed .rec files. When you click to open this should show up in your downloads folder where you can open it to see the four individual .rec files. Please let me know if you have trouble opening, and if you need more data.

I used my engine oil extraction pump. Three bucket dumps. I spent a few hrs analyzing the data graphs. I couldn't access the fuel pump Schrader valves easily, so I moved on to recording data. My observations: Engine off, key on 22 psi. I assume the high pressure sensor is accurate at low...
