The row boat I recently go came with two oars whose blades were too damaged to use. I got two more oars that were both to long (I need 6’) and one was cut in half and “repaired with a length of HEAVY pipe. Can oars like this be saved, or should I just soend $100 for new ones?
I was just given a 1961 Dyer Dhow Midget (I know, there’s no such thing as a free boat...). I know it needs a new skeg and the gunwale is cracked and damaged. I’m pretty new to boating and wondered what the least expensive route would be to get it back into the water? Could I take the boat out...
