    I was just wondering how much my old mercury 500 might be worth? I think its about 1972, it came on a old speed boat i brought for £500! just a rough estimate? ;)

    Out of water test for a Mercury 500

    Hi there, i am very new to this game, and have just brought a old old speed boat to restore. I was just wondering if there is a way of attaching a hose pipe to the engine to test and if it fires up or not? Its a Mercury 500 outboard, sorry thats all i know! Hence being new to this game!
