    Fletcher Bravo Arrowsport 150 restoration...

Hey, thanks for the message. I have been searching none end for information on theses boats, just love the history behind them. I would certainly be interested in the owners club if you have the details? Oh do you have some photos of the inboard version of arrowsport, it would be good to see...

    Fletcher Bravo Arrowsport 150 restoration...

So it seems I now have a sieve for a hull. So many voids found whilst grinding, most of them are small but run along most of the channels where the stringers will be situated. My intention now is to get some reinforcement down in all of these channels, im thinking it will be easier of just...

    Fletcher Bravo Arrowsport 150 restoration...

Does anyone have any advice regarding the windscreens? Unfortunately, this one cracked! This one, in particular, is curved on the corners. Would this have to be fabricated by a professional or is it possible to either find a replacement or attempt to make one myself?

    Fletcher Bravo Arrowsport 150 restoration...

So today was another day on the grinding, there were a multitude of weak areas once the old glass had been taken back. Obviously these areas need addressing, so is it a case of applying a few layers of glass to each area to strengthen it again? Not too long to go, I should be able to get...

    Fletcher Bravo Arrowsport 150 restoration...

Im not entirely sure what was in there originally as it was soo rotten when I removed everything. There was in fact a plywood deck tabbed on top of the original to my surprise. I think I will be sticking with wood for the stringers and deck, I'll find some more details out on the foam panels...

Point welll made, I honestly don't think there's a huge difference in cost judging by the amount of material required. Its usually 1/2 inch marine ply used for both stringers and the decking?

Thanks for the response, funnily enough I was just reading through this restoration last night, some good work 👏. That's pretty much the approach I have taken so far, i just needed to be sure I was going at it correctly.

    Fletcher Bravo Arrowsport 150 restoration...

Well better late than never! Its been almost two years since I started this post, and only until recently I have now managed to start the project. So I've strip it all down and began the sanding all of the internals. My first question is, what finish I'm looking for before I begin to rebuild...

Maxum boat with Force 125hp outboard.

Thanks for the reply! The motor does look to be in a good condition, so I could get it turned over today and see how its running. I cant imagine he would except that, but worth a try. It would be a nice little project if he would part with it. Appreciate the info.

Maxum boat with Force 125hp outboard.

Good day, I have come across a boat which has been wasting away for 5 years in my storage yard and the owner never uses it, but he is open to offers. He states he paid 5000 for the boat several years ago, and would be willing to sell. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what boat this is and if...

Is it worth it? Boat restoration

Hi, I came across a Sea Ray SVOB16 recently in a storage yard, which has been sat in a sorry state for 3-4 years (if anyone has anymore details on this boat, that would be great). i would very much appreciate some advice on whether this would be a good project. I have had a look over the boat...

    Fletcher Bravo Arrowsport 150 restoration...

Hi all! I've got myself an old fletcher Arrowsport 150 with an Evinrude 85hp outboard which has become a little project of mine. I'm just going through the process of stripping all the internals out, and my first concern will be the transom. After removing the outboard and the fuel tank from...
