    Mercruiser 496 will not throttle up.

    Hi . I have a 2008 mercruiser 496 engine. The problem is it will idle fine, but as soon as you throttle up the engine brakes up. I ran the engine after it was cold. Ran fine. but after warm up it crashes. New spark plugs,wires, checked to make sure they are on right.I;m thinking a sensor is bad...

    Oil pan to large for my jet boat. HELP.

    I have a 94 Volvo Penta 454 engine. It is a stock engine. I'm going to put it in a Hawaiian 21 foot jet boat. The problem is,the oil pan is about 9 inched tall.It hits the floor of the jet boat before I can line up the drive unit. This is a 1994 Generation V engine. Anyone know a place I can get...
