    Is the propeller shaft too high or the pinion shaft too low? Is the pinion gear positioned correctly on the pinion shaft? Ie: not being drawn high enough when the nut is tightened.

    It's amazing how much the price varies. I have seen this set for 650 on Marine engine.com. I know I have an undesirable setup by today's standards, which is most likely why some parts are not reproduced like some others. (Small Gearcase with Ford engine) 😊

    I had spoken to them also, they only had used ones. I am going to put in as much new as I can which is why I have been holding out on them. I found them for $100 far less than most places. Simple pleasures for simple minds! 😁
