I have a 1991 Four Winns with a 2.3 litre OMC Cobra. The engine starts fine and sounds great but does not shift into gear (forward or reverse). When shifting the shift mechanism is very tight. It never sounds like it is engaged or even trying to engage, always sounds like it is in neutral...
