    Johnson 115 backfiring

    I just bought a 99 Javelin with a 115hp Johnson. <br />I changed the plugs and took it out the other day. It ran fine for about 30 min, and then all of a sudden it started backfiring really bad, especially at WOT. Could the carburetor just be dirty? Or maybe water in the fuel? Please give me any...
