Just replaced my trim pump bracket. I guess it was a bracket at one time. Did the stainless steel from the advice received here.
QQ, the Mercruiser Service Manual #14 says there should be a vent screw. I'm not seeing where a screw would go?

I have a Mercruiser 5.7l 2bbl Thunderbolt V.
Serial 0L692104
As I have found out, she is the one with vortec heads. 8 bolts not 12.
She ran ok, but hard to start cold or warm. So I bought the Sierra tune...
