    Loose 9.8

    I have a 1976 Merc 110 9.8 HP. The problem that I am having is that it is real loose. Meaning, if I let go of the tiller, it will turn hard to the right/left. Is there a tension screw somewhere on the motor to tighten it. <br /><br />At WOT it is fine, but idling the problem is real bad...

    Impeller direction on a 25 Johnson

    I just recently installed the impeller in my '89 25hp johnson. I wasn't paying attention when I removed the old one. I just need to know, does the shaft turn clockwise, or counter-clockwise. Is it bad if I put in in backwards, what are the consequences?
