    Was out this weekend and my tach wasn't working properly....it was sticking at all different RPM's...if I tapped the gauge it would jump to the correct reading. Any ideas why this would be happening and how to fix it? The boat has Faria gauges btw. Thanks guys!

    Hi Guys, Can someone tell me if I should have a gasket between my thermostat and the housing other than the standard "paper" gasket my engine seems to run a little cool...my buddy has an OMC and he has a rubber gasket between the thermostat and the slot where it sits. Thanks!!
