    Crap, I did turn Drive Shaft CW a few times but only after installing lower unit so i did not actually see that. Some water was definitely going in because it was coming out of the tiny pee hole on the starboard side of lower unit when I pushed the muffs by hand tightly to the suction screen/port.

    I see the "O" rings on the exploded drawing, looks like a reasonably easy task. I don't have a manual any idea on the torque settings when re-attaching? And thanks for the reply!

    Need some help/advice. 3 cylinders on the outboard are registering 140 PSI however 1 cylinder is at 100 PSI. I don't have the money for a rebuild or replacement at this time, will the outboard be ok for a short fishing season here in the NorthEast? What can I expect? Really crappy performance or...
