    Sorry got that mixed up. The end that goes to the engine has 4 wires. One female, 3 males. The box loose wires all female plus the plug

    8 prongs on the big wire. That goes to the engine. The wires coming out all have female ends. The other wires from the control box have 3 Male ends and one Female end plug the plug.
