    Insane, I use pine, i brush a coat of fiberglass resin on all my wood projects that are going to get wet and then paint the color i want. good ideal to route all edges. I just finished building a wood seat for my Achilles 310. HAVE FUN.

    Yes you are right, The new seat was the smallest i could find 16 inches wide, I moved the seat frame forward to clear the tiller turning I will have to reach over the seat back to control the iron horse.

    This is the seat frame, well made stainless steel. i added a 1/4 piece of plywood on the frame to attach fittings for hold downs, the seat has a 7 inch pedestal no swivel, no turning room. fuel tank will ride at bow when sibing alone. Have fun only.

    Loaded the achilles on the modified trailer, using a come along. Doing things alone. I was given a used good condition piece of house rug so decided to make a interior rug for the aluminum floor of the achilles. feet will love me.

    Thank you Sea Rider i learned a lot from your trailer builds. i plan on leaving motor attached to transom when trailing with 5hp, to start for fun. live in so.ca. and need to get trailer registered. after my first inflatable boat trailer launch i will decide if i need a tongue extension.
