    Its the omg 5.0 ford. So far I have taken out 4 bolts. I ended up pulling the whole drive. I think you are right about the gears. When I spin the prop it hangs up a bit then spins and you can feel something isnt right.

    Trim goes up but not down

    All of the sudden I cant get my trim to go down. I used a jumper wire at the coil and it lowered. Never have had a problem in the past. Wen to run a jumper and now i have lost all power to my radio and my trim pump. Any ideas? Is there a fuse that might have blown? Im checking the wiring...

    I found clogged exhaust ports when i pulled rhe drive. The flaps made there way to the deive. I looked for water in the oul. No problem. I did shut it down quick when it over heated. I ordered new everything for the exhaust.

    Yeah it overheated. Mainly because the thermostat didn’t function. I ordered the new parts but yeah I was affraid of having to pull the drive. I know those flappers wont just disappear lol. It did blow water out of the bellows like it was clogged

    So I just bought the boat and it was discovered it was poorly maintained. I ordered new exhaust manifolds and risers. While removing the parts I noticed rust flakes falling into the exhaust pipes where the bellows attach. Should i try to flush, or vacuum the stuff out or should it be fine? Also...
