I ended up not needing the Easy Connect. The issue I was having was caused by seawater pump that had some strange wear in it from something that happened with the previous owner. I replaced it this week and the alarm has gone away and the boat runs great.
I think I am going to try to buy the Volvo Penta Easy Connect Gateway for my engine to see if I can see the actual error code causing the alarm I am getting around 3000RPM and up once it is up to operation temp.
