    It's black and I can't see any writing on the cable from where it comes into the bilge to where it disappears behind gunnel. I can try calling FW tomorrow. My mechanic told me I could find it by serial numbers of the engine and or drive but I can't seem to find anywhere to do that

I am thinking there is something wrong with the 5v circuit in the ECM based on the plunger not moving when all the way open.....and when it's closed it's being told to open but thinks it's closed.     Yes the 81 code has been there all year with no issue and before this issue. It says "Crankshaft Position sensor 81" or something similar. I am not sure where to test the 5V reference voltage or should the techmate show that somewhere?

    no....we only get the codes when we UNPLUG the sensors while the motor is running.......once we clear those out.....shut the motor off.....start it up with the sensors plugged in we don't get those codes

    Oh we get codes for low voltage on both sensors when we unplug them....there is a cam shaft position sensor 81 code that won't go away but that has been there all summer with no issue. I am going to try another sensor and if that does not work I have a source that will test the ECM as I think...

    The issue is......the IAC reads zero......but it's all the way OPEN.....meaning the plunger is all the way out of the hole and letting max air in through the hole in the throttle body which is why the motor is revving up. I can plug the hole with my thumb and the boat idles down

    Disconnected the linkage. TPS was at 0. IAC stayed open but read "0" Boat revs up to 2k RPM. If I disconnect the TPS sensor it revs down to about 1200 RPM but the IAC does not move.
