Does anyone know how to repair a slightly bent skeg yourself? I understand it is made from cast aluminum, can it be heated and hammered straight? It is on a 2004 Mercury 225 4 Stroke. I do not think the warranty will cover this so I would like to fix before Monday, that is when it goes into shop...
