    Alldodge, When you say TB5, TBI and MEFI 3, does that mean I do not have an EFI? I am asking because EFI was printed on the cover of my flame arrestor. Thank you for your guidance!

    I have a Thunderbolt V ignition system and EFI/ MPI MEFI 3 ECM model (or possibly MEFI 4) My distributor looks exactly like the attached drawing

    Thank you, I have looked for these two parts, I don't have them in my configuration. I have two wires going from the distributor directly to the ECM (MEFI 3). I have attached a photo.

    Mine looks just like this. It is either MEFI 3 or MEFI 4. I am now looking at a diagnostic tool that does not cost an arm and a leg. I have been searching for an hour now, and only find 700 USD models. Can anyone recommend a more reasonable priced MEFI Scan tool?

    I really do not know how. It is not very accessible, and I do not see or feel a way to lock it in place. I know it sounds stupid, but I tried, without success!

    There is another odd thing that I have seen: The whole distributor unit can easily be turned, without any significant resistance. I do not know how to lock in a specific position.
