    Piston Rings ??

    After have a none running 4hp we've put engine oil down the plug hole! It now runs fine...<br /><br />Does this point to piston ring wear?? or some other problem?<br /><br />Also if its not piston ring wear could it be that the fuel/oil mixture wants enrinching a bit??<br /><br />Thanks for...

    4hp 'Being a Pig' !!!!

    This used to be dead reliable. Now it won't fire.<br /><br />Got spark, got compression, got new clean fuel, cleaned carb (didn't need it! it was all sparkling!)<br /><br />Even if we spray a bit direct into engine we get absolutely NOTHING...........!!!!! :confused: <br /><br />Any ideas...
