    Found my problem over the weekend. Line that comes off the base of the power head and connectes to a check valve behind the carbs and manifold was rotted out. Replaced the short section from the hose barb on the motor to the check valve and no more leaking. Do you know what the check valve...

    I have been trying to find a diagram of the fuel system hoses from the VRO to the Carbs but not having much luck.

    This probelm is new to this motor. I had the preivious owner look at it and he said he had never had the problem. See photo of the amount of oil coming out.

    It is when I start tilting it up. It starts pooling at the base of the power head. If it is the floats I have rebuild kits for the carbs should that solve the problem?

    How is getting to the base of the power head from the carbs ? What path could it take nothing else is wet at all .

    I have a 1996 Evinrude E225TXDED 225 V6. Runs great, idles great. When I shut if off fuel mix pools at the base of the motor where the Fuel line for vacuum pulse is located. I have replaced that hose but still pooling. Does not appear to be coming from Carbs. When I tilt the motor the mix runs...
