I don't think the water pump impeller has been replaced but I do know it's pumping water. And I do not have an overheat horn.....as far as I'm aware. Would those cause it to die when under load? I can throttle up with out the fwd gear engaged but it dies when throttle up when it's engaged
Hey y'all I'm new to the boating world and I just got a 1972 ebbtide with the original Evinrude and I got her to start and the drive to engage but if I try to engage the fwd on idle it bogs down and dies but if I give it a touch of throttle it works but if I try and throttle up more it bogs down...
