    '75 OMC shifter - Electric

    Does anyone know where to get a "shift acuator" for the shifter on a 1975 OMC? The part I need is the black tube on the back of the shifter that acuates the electric shift. I call it this for lack of better words. Solenoid maybe? I can't find one anywhere.

    Will not crank, no fire

    Has the starter or the ignition switch been messed with? Sounds like the wires are messed up, like, not hooked up to the Run terminal.

    Engine swaps - OMC to Mercruiser, and 2.5 to 3.0

    I have a junk OMC 2.5 120. I found a few Merc 120's, is this the same motor? Also, Can I bolt up the 3.0 Merc that is still in production (read: easier to find) to my Stringer outdrive? One more thing..........What cars came with the GM 2.5 that I might be able to use in my boat. I know...
