what would cause my motor to miss when i get in semi rough water or i go over someones wake. i have a '68 40 hp evinrude mod 40873A and ser. E04702 ? when i am in smooth water it runs fine.
i have a 68 evinrude 40 hp on a '65 15.5 ft seaeray 500
runs great at slow speed but will not plane out .
the model is 40873A and the serial is EO4702
boat mainly used for pulling tubers thanks
