    I have an 79/85 hp evinrude o/b.<br />I haven't been able to trim down for sometime.<br />I replaced the motor(electric) because i wasn't get any power to trim down.Installed new motor and still get tilt,but my disapointment no trim.<br />I feel it is time to have somebody replace a seal or two...

    I have a 85 evinrude outboard.I've installed a new electric motor for the tilt and it goes up perfectly, but i can not get it to go down unless i use the release screw.Please help!! :confused: <br />I think it is an 79 or 80.And yes the electric part of it does sound like it is working...
