    99 Yamaha 70 hp - opinions please

    I am looking at a 4.6m Plate Alloy boat with a &0 yammy on it. The motor is a 99 model with aprox. 300 hrs on it. Are these generally a reliable motor ? and what should I look for / check to guage its condition ? Any comments appreciated.

    1992 johnson 70 hp

    I'm looking at a boat with a 92 johnson 70 hp on it. hours unknown. Are there any fundamental problems with these motors? It has just had the impellor replaced. Is this a tell tale sign of trouble to come?
