    1974 7.5 Tiller Handle Question

    Can't solve Reverse Lock Issue - at wits end

    Had new impeller put on by merc mechanic - took the boat out reverse worked fine then later on the same trip the socket broke on the end of the linkage and I had no reverse or neutral. I took it back to the same mechanic and he removed the lower unit and starter and fixed it (or so I thought)...

    Mercury 25 Gas Tank Connection

    Hi, I have a 2005 25 Merc - can I direct connect the fuel line to the gas tank? I don't like the old style quick disconnect that connects the fuel line to the tank. Also, can I shorten the fuel line - does it make any difference - probably a stupid question but I'm kinda new at this stuff...

    2005 Mercury 25 not pumping water

    Hi, I have a 2005 25 merc that worked fine out on the lake (plenty of water coming thru the hole) but came home, put on the ears to flush and water just barely drips out. I can feel air coming out the hole but no water. Of course I immedietly shut the motor off to hopefully avoid any damage...
