    My 1987 mercury 60hp 3 cylinder 2 stroke outboard overheated because of garbage bag over lowerunit. For some reason the beeper did not go off. It got so hot it discolered the spark plug half of the powerhead and started to melt some plastic parts. It runs but has low commpression on top...

    I have a mid 80s bayliner with 305 chevy and I think a 800 omc drive. I would like to change my lower unit oil. I have had mercruisers but never onc and I have heard if you do it wrong you ruin the drive.Please help. THANKS

    yamaha tilt trim

    On my 1988 70 hp the trim works great up, down its good until it gets to the trim cyls then it stalls the motor like its bound up. I open the bleed screw and it goes down all the way. What is happening? THANKS PETE:(
