‘98 90hp Johnson

I bought a used ‘98 24’ pontoon bought that has a ‘99 Johnson 90 hp oil injection. It only has 139 hours on it. I noticed at full throttle it was showing 7000 rpm. Don’t know if that’s actual rpm or if the gauge is not functioning properly.

Perhaps the tachometer is set wrong.----What number ( on back of the tachometer ) is it set at ?-----At an actual 7000 RPM the motor will not last long.-----What pitch prop is on this motor , a 15" or 13 " pitch?
