00' Seadoo GTX Limited Info Center Won't Turn Off

Hey guys. I got this 00' Seadoo GTX with an always on info center, even with the dess key off the machine. Someone had run a switch coming off the batt initially to try to eliminate this problem, kind of like a perco switch, but all it did was cause it not to start. So I bypassed that switch so it's back to how it should be and now it runs but the info center still won't shut off. I noticed too that the dess key post is a little loose so I am assuming it has somehting to do with that but idk. If it is the dess key I have to take it to the dealership to get a new one programed right?

I'd check your start switch. That sends signal to mpem to turn them on

If you have another battery try that. with today's cars and computers a bad battery can really make things go crazy. I would bet that could be it.

So it's funny you say that. I've tried several batts in it including known good batts and a brandy new one still the same issue. Furthermore it seems to rev up and down slightly at idle and is definitely not water worthy at the moment. I did replace the solenoid switch inside the coil box with zero effect this way or the other. Lost as a mofo on this fella.
