The plastic part on my 2001 Stingray 190LS “patent-pending” hinge broke. I can’t seem to figure out what it’s called or where to get a new one. Any guidance would be appreciated.

It's a Water Bonnet part, a latch I think. Is it used the latch the center window closed?

You might check with Stingray.

Gonna stop by the dealership this week. I did a search for Water Bonnet hinge and window parts. No luck yet.

If I'm not mistaken, that part is part of the hinge, I think there are two of them on the hinged side of the walk through window. I think if you slide both of those plastic things a certain direction it enables you to totally remove the pass through window. I have the same thing on my Lund.

I tried contacting Water Bonnet regarding a vinyl top I have. You need to look a bit, but get on their website, find something that says "contact us" which will be an email address. Include a picture of your part in your email.

They got back to me in a day or two.

When I purchased my stingray I was given access to My Stingray. I believe if you go to http://www.stingrayboats.com/owners/owners_only.php you can signup, from there you will get access to the parts list for your boat and if need be order the part you are looking for, if available. You can ask the manufacturer questions but my experience with them was not that positive.

If you have no luck I can ask for you and see if the part is available and price...

ya anything you can do to help would be great. It seems TaylorMarine purchased WaterBonnet. I contacted them and they sent me over to OceanDynamics for the part. They are “checking” with there team. It’s been a week and I haven’t heard anything back yet.

Yes there is 2 and 1 is broke. I haven’t had any luck contacting water bonnet directly, possible because they were purchased by TaylorMarine. Do you have there contact phone number?

So that I have all the info, your boat is a 2001 Stingray 190LS and the part you are looking for is the latch for the walk through windshield or the hinge?

Yes a 2001 Stingray 190 LS and I need the hinges that the hinge rod connects/latches into. There are 2 of them and I believe they are a 2piece setup. 1 piece secures the latch to the window frame and the 2nd piece is what is used to slide and lock the hinge rod.

I think you have already asked in the Stingray forum or someone with your exact question asked already, lol

So Stingray used to have a option called "ask a question" directed to Stingray, they don't any longer. It's a little disappointing. I will poke around and see if I can find anything and IM you or post back here, likely both, lol.

When you sign on to my stingray, there should be a link at the top for ordering parts for the boat? I've ordered $everal for my boat so far.
