was wondering if any one has had this problem before.this only happened once. And ran good the rest of the day .I'm scared that it might happen again .I idled out of a no wake zone for about 15 0r 20 minutes then got on the throttle with in about 1 or 2 minutes the buzzer sounded I shut it down then restarted it,i don't remember if I throttled or if just idled it but a buzzer sounded right away shut it down again waited about 1 to 2 minutes, it started no buzzer so throttled it with in 20 seconds' a buzzer again .but when I shut it down I heard a loud hise for a couple seconds'. sounded like air trapped in the thermostat . on a car we would bleed the air out .could this be the case. if so is there a bypass hole that could be plugged . I ordered a new thermostat and aand the gasket behind the exhaust plate which is under the therostat housing .is this common the boat wasn't driven in awhile but always flushed good . another thing the water spitting out never gets that hot and yes it had water spitting out at all times I have the factory service manual doesn't show much or give any info on this problem. any help would be grateful sure about the spelling I am using my dads computer thanks mark
