03' Suzuki DT 150 Stuck in forward

Well I have got as far as to see I dont have a broken shift cable. I can shift with the thoottle but just stays in gear.
Any Ideas where to start??

Disconnect the shift cable from the motor and try to move the engine shifter manually while running on a hose. This will isolate the problem to either the boat or the motor.
