I have a 2003 yamaha 115 horse 4 stroke, I have no gauges except for a tach. But after start up it will give a quick beep and then everything seems to be fine. is this normal. thanks
sometimes they will give a quick oil alarm at start up, not really supposed to but it happens.<br /> those years had some oil pump seal issues as well. keep an eye out for leakage.
where abouts is the oil pump, if its on the outside I am sure I can find it, also was there any service bulletins or recalls on this engine. My dealer is real new to yamaha and doesnt know much. thanks
