Think resale on this. $200 is not enough incentive to go with 04 model. If you were looking at an 02 and a 2000 model used, you would think one is more used than the other, not to mention book values would be different. If you are looking to save some cash, wait until they have both in stock. Dealer will have more incentive to move the older one and you might save $500 instead of $200.Originally posted by Jus'Cruzin:
I have the opportunity to purchase a new 04 or wait 1 month and get the new 06 honda 50. Is there any improvements from 04 to 06? The 04 I can get for $200 cheaper with full 3 warranty.
I'd offer him several hundred less for the '04. Like the guy said, $200 is not enough incentive to purchase what is in effect an engine that's depreciated 2 years. On the other hand, it's gotta be worth something to have the engine in hand now rather than a month from now, unless you already have something that is useable in the mean time.Originally posted by Jus'Cruzin:
I have the opportunity to purchase a new 04 or wait 1 month and get the new 06 honda 50.
