Will I be ok towing with this SUV? It is rated at 3500 lbs. Has a tany cooler and class 3 hitch. The boat I'm getting is under 1000 lbs. The boat is 565 motor is about 150. Plus gas, and battery, fishing stuff.
I tow #2000 with one of those. Those tranny's run hot. I would recommend not towing in overdrive and getting the fluid flushed at the manufacturers recommended intervals (or more) just to be safe.
My tranny is on it's way out at 120,000 miles most likely due to me not following the advise I just gave you.
