This has just started happening. I am leaning to starter, looking for your thoughts.

When cold she starts right up just fine. but if I run it say 5-10 mins then kill it and try to restart it it acts like a low battery, ( I have two battery with a switch) It does this on any single battery when I put the switch to all batteries it will start. Let it cool down and one battery will start it right up (this is why I am not thinking battery problems or wiring).

Any thoughts, I did see a post very simular but they did not say what the problem was at the end.

Thanks again

You need to find out if you are having problems with the voltage getting to starter
or if something is binding up with heat,
Lower unit can bind up drive shaft and not let motor turn properly when heated up just like a problem with the motor pistons and crank can.

And there is always the chance the starter is having a problem

Re: 07 F150 help trouble starting when warm

got out this past weekend to do a little trouble shooting. Ran the boat for about 40 mins let if get good a hot. got back to the dock, Same thing would not start. Pulled the cowling off the the starter was very very hot. Used the meter the voltage was dropping down to 4 volts during crank.. When right out side the motor a the juction box it was only dropping to 10.5 volts during crank. so at this point I am leaning and looking for a new starter. any other ideas that I did not think of.....

Is the starter staying engaged once you start it? It could be the starter solenoid not disengaging, or the starter not disengaging.

Was able to do a little more testing come to find out looks like it was a lose ground. Was able to reground the battery at the distribution block and this has seemed to fix the problem so far.
