It's been in the shop a few times chasing down water pressure alarms and such. The little red plug that goes into the gray water line and Ts off into another water line is leaking. It is located at the bottom of the port side head. I know it's been removed to check pressure or whatever while it was at the shop because there's needle nose plier crimp marks on the red plug. In addition, they tried to seal it up with the permatex non hardening sealer - the stuff that just stays sticky and makes a mess.
So what I did was used some ultra black RTV I had laying around at home. Wondering if this is going to work any better or what is suggested to seal this thing off properly so it doesn't leak? Perhaps I need a new red plug? It was dripping a single drop of water every 7 seconds or so but I'd rather not have water causing corrosion inside the motor.
