08 Fisher hawk186 sport..lots of problems!!

hey guys I'm not one to verbally bash a boat,so I'll try and be subtle. I bought this boat last spring and have had a ton of problems. Radio shorting out. Blown fuses, front livewell wont work,rear livewell overflows into hull, rivits popping out of handles, floor has a nasty crease in it,12v plug has no power. I'm sure there is more but have had it winterized so I havn't been in it for a few mths. Has anyone else owned or own a fisher boat and have you had many problems. Now with that said I put a merc optimax 150 on the back and that dude kicks *****..Thanks for the input

if the boat is under warranty, take it in for service. have you check fuses?

That is why boats have warranties and why selecting the dealer is at least as important as selecting the boat. None of these problems sound major (with the possible exception of a "crease" in the floor, whatever that means). A good mechanic should be able to sort it out very quickly. The electrical problems are probably all related, and a single "fix" will put them all back into service. Popped rivets should be very easy to repair or replace.
Stuff happens on even the best boats. Hopefully your dealer and the manufacturer will stand behind the product and get it sorted out for you very quickly.

I'll be taking it in this week. I too hope the dealer will take care of my problems. The dealer is the other half of my problem.
